Music Program

Children can learn a number of musical instruments in our Music Program. Lessons are given throughout the week (Monday through Friday), from 4:00-6:00pm. Students receive one-on-one lessons and are given incentives to practice and participate in our annual Music Recital, held at the end of the year. Other activities include field-trips (to local performances), workshops and visiting artist. A place for Jazz offers workshops which give students and parents the opportunity to meet, listen and learn from talented Jazz artists, who share their experiences and offer insight into the world of jazz.

The Music Program is open to all school-aged children Monday through Friday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Registration is required, and the fee is $5.00 per year (this is a one time fee good for membership in all programs offered at the Hamilton Hill Arts Center).

Schedule:
Choir (Wednesdays); Steel Drums-Beginners (Thursday)
* This year's Music Program has been scaled back greatly due to lack of funding. We are currently looking for volunteers to keep the program going. We are looking for experienced musicians, to teach music from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, once a week. For more information, please contact Taj Majors, at (518)346-1262, ext. 10.
