Upcoming Events

Throughout the year the Hamilton Hill Arts Center is proud to host a number of events. These events vary, are culturally focused, entertaining and offer activies for children and adults. Most events are free of charge and we are always looking for volunteers and planning committee members. Aside from our large events (Juneteenth, Kwanzaa and the Gala), we also host a number of workshops, exhibit openings, concerts, fundraisers and visiting artists. These events will be listed here, so check back often--because there's always something exciting happening at the Arts Center!

Adult Workshops
African Drumming, Mask Making, Senior Painting and Udu Drum Making
October 2009 through January 2010

At the Hamilton Hill Arts Center

Due to popular demand, the Hamilton Hill Arts Center is presenting a number of adult workshops. These including African Drumming and Senior Painting, both very popular in the past. In addition, we are also offering Mask Making and Udu Drum Making workshops. These workshops give adults activities that are fun and entertaining, with a focus on the cultural and artisitic aspect of our mission. While there are costs associated with many of these workshops, these funds are used for supplies, instructors and generally benefit the Arts Center and the programs we provide for children. These workshops are a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who share the same interests and are great for adults of all age levels and skills, and are open to all. Registration is required and space is limited. For more information, please see our Adult Programs page.
