Melba Moore is a Tony award winning, Grammy Nominated singer and artist who has mesmerized audiences for over 30 years. A deeply spiritual person, Melba is a strong advocate for children and it is this interest that enables the Hamilton Hill Arts Center to bring her for her only Capital Region appearance. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased through Proctors' box office or the Hamilton Hill Arts Center.

Adult Workshops
African Drumming, Mask Making, Senior Painting and Udu Drum Making
October 2009 through January 2010
At the Hamilton Hill Arts Center

Due to popular demand, the Hamilton Hill Arts Center is presenting a number of adult workshops. These including African Drumming and Senior Painting, both very popular in the past. In addition, we are also offering Mask Making and Udu Drum Making workshops. These workshops give adults activities that are fun and entertaining, with a focus on the cultural and artisitic aspect of our mission. While there are costs associated with many of these workshops, these funds are used for supplies, instructors and generally benefit the Arts Center and the programs we provide for children. These workshops are a great opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who share the same interests and are great for adults of all age levels and skills, and are open to all.
